Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Senior End-User Computing (EUC) Engineer to provide Level 3 support for our global VMware Horizon environment. This role demands deep technical expertise in VMware Horizon components like DEM, UAG, App Volumes, and Connection Servers, as well as a strong command of Active Directory configurations and EUC integrations. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, supporting mission-critical infrastructure and enhancing end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support for VMware Horizon environments, focusing on DEM, UAG, App Volumes, and Connection Server
- Act as the SME for complex Active Directory configurations, GPOs, and EUC platform integration.s
- Monitor and optimize VDI environments to ensure performance, stability, and user satisfaction
- Engage directly with clients to understand and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Participate in environment upgrades, patching schedules, and change management processes
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, SOPs, and support runbooks
- Pursue continuous learning, including relevant EUC certifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience with VMware Horizon infrastructure and Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, GPO management, OU structuring, and authentication mechanism
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production VDI environments
- Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools like ServiceNow
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work IST night shifts (supporting North America region)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to alternative EUC platforms like Parallels RAS, Island, AVD, or Citrix
- Advanced scripting experience in PowerShell or VBScript
- Understanding of secure browser technologies or Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks
- ITIL Foundation certification or knowledge of ITIL-based support practices
